The cabin is on National Forest Land, so it is part of a land lease and has a shared water system with other cabins around it. It is a seasonal cabin in which the roads might be difficult to travel across in winter, and the water is shut off from November to March. You will hear the river rushing behind the cabin and a stream runs alongside it. There is a fireplace, but the wood burning stove will keep you toasty, even in the cold, snowy season. There is an open living space downstairs with a kitchen and dining area. Two bedrooms with full beds and a bathroom with a shower are on the main level. Upstairs is a loft with two full beds. There is also an outhouse and washing machine ''house'' outside. It is a rustic cabin. It is about fifteen minutes from Springville and about thirty minutes from Porterville. Insurance may be tricky. California Fair Plan might be an option. There is no internet...just peace, quiet, and forest animals. Enjoy the nearby Stagg Tree, the Quaking Aspens, and the Trail of 100 Giants. This cabin is in the middle of beautiful, secluded landmarks few people know about.
